The second part of the Bible is known as the New Testament , which consists of 27 books that were written after the resurrection of Jesus, between 50 and 100 AD. C.

Structure of the New Testament
This section of the Bible comprises 27 books that were written by 7 people in a period of 50 years. In turn, these 27 books are divided into 4: Gospels, Acts of the Apostles, 21 Epistles and the Apocalypse or Revelation .
Gospels
Also called canonical gospels, they are known by the 4 names of those who wrote them: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John . These New Testament books detail the life and words of Jesus Christ while on earth.
The Gospels were written by different people, so through the 4 books a broad vision of the activities, teachings and chronologies of the life of Jesus is obtained.
Acts of the Apostles
This book describes the beginning of the Christian church or congregation and how it spread throughout the entire Greco-Roman world.
The history of the fact book spans approximately 30 years of transition. It highlights that the Gospels were only preached to the Jews and that the primitive congregation was made up of them.
21 epistles
This book covers from the Epistle to the Romans to the Epistle of Judas (numbers 6 to 26).
Some discoveries showed that the epistles, or general letters, were the most widely used means of communication at the time, hence these letters represent most of the New Testament.
Apocalypse
Also known as Revelation, it is the last book of the Bible . It describes the final triumph of Jesus Christ as enthroned king and that of his future people.
In total, Revelation has 22 chapters and is number 27 in the order of the New Testament books.
